Job Description
- Analyze potential flaws in our products and describe fault codes including root causes & remedial action (e.g. MMS, MMC, Power Control).
 - Create individual troubleshooting test steps within the OTX authoring system and check for existing descriptions, references or links.
 - Create new content for troubleshooting and make instructions available for other IT tools.
 - Facilitate the timely delivery of troubleshooting content for our products to the Service organization.
 - Work in a global team with all relevant specialist departments such as Service, R&D or Training Center.
 - Test troubleshooting products for consistency and quality using internal testing tools to ensure quality accordingly.
 
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors / masters in Electronics or mechatronics Engineering with 3-6 years of experience.
 - Previous experience of automation plants and systems, and an ability to analyze interrelationships, e.g. the relevance of fault symptoms or the interaction of sub-components.
 - Understanding about internal combustion engine, systems and applications is desirable.
 - Knowledge of our in-house It-landscape as well as programming skills in OTX is an advantage.
 - Enthusiastic, communicative personality who can engage with project teams, technical experts and users in German and English.
 - Sound MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
 - A methodical approach and a solid background in electronics/engineering.
 - Inquisitive nature, keen to continue developing with us by accepting the challenge of fostering an understanding of new troubleshooting products and technologies.
